My name is Sam Solorio, I was born in Texas, but have called Las Vegas home for the last 21 years. I have been married to my wife, Jennifer for 7 years and together we have six amazing kids. After graduating from High School, I joined the US Army where I served for 3 years. Upon completion of my military career, I immediately joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in July 1998 and am currently a Detective with the Armor Unit.
My passion is for helping others, due to that passion I am currently the President of Armored Dogs LE MC, who work hand in hand with my newly formed Non-Profit 501c3, Clark County Children’s Foundation, where we raise money for families that have children in medical crisis.
I am also involved in several other charities or organizations across the Las Vegas valley, including Christian Hope project, Project 150, and Basket of Hope.
I am comfortable talking to people, getting donations, working events, and have many ideas on different fundraisers to help raise money for the organization.
I look forward helping fellow officers and their families.
