This fund raiser has been started by the Wicomico County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 111 for Deputy First Class Steve Ray.

(Your donations here, through OfficerDown.US are 501c3 tax deductible and you will receive a receipt with the IRS tax ID number for your records.)

Deputy First Class Steve Ray died unexpectedly shortly after his shift ended leaving behind 3 children and a long time girl friend, Erika Milbauer,  whom he told family members was 'the love of his life'.

As Erika and Steve have just recently come to a point in their lives where they were able to purchase their first home together, tragedy struck their lives and left Erika alone to navigate expenses and financial responsibilities by herself.

Deputy First Class Steve Ray was a 17 year member of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, a member of our SERT team, one of our first motor unit deputies, a specialist with Sheriff's Office Tracking Unit, and a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Deputy First Class Ray was very active in supporting our law enforcement community and families as he was an active soccer coach at one our  local high schools. Deputy First Class Ray was a marine whom exemplified the motto, "Semper Fidelis" and was loved by many.

Funds raised will be dispersed as per the designated family member's direction via the FOP Lodge 111, as were Deputy First Class Steve Ray's wishes
