Corrections Officer Steven Martinez is an 18 year veteran with The City of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety who was diagnosed with cancer and is now unable to work due to his medical condition. During this time, Steven and his wife Anna are in need of support so that paying bills does not interfere with seeking treatments.  Steven served our great Country honorably in The United States Marine Corps before changing uniforms and continuing his dedication to service with The City of Las Vegas.

Steven has always been a humble man and friend that is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Steven and Anna can always be counted on to help and support fellow coworkers and friends with selfless dedication and love.  Unfortunately Steven was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma) which has traveled to his right lung via a Lymph node.  He will begin Chemotherapy and radiation therapy this week if his Doctor deems he is healthy enough due to blood clots that developed on his right lung.

Since Steven can no longer work we are asking family, friends and the community to all come together and help our friend in need who has done so much for others and the community he serves.  Steven is also a long time active NLPOA and LVPOA member in good standing.  Any donation will help and is deeply appreciated.  Thank you for your support!

Please keep Steven and his family in your thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult time as he battles cancer.

Donations through OfficerDown.US are 501c3 tax-deductible. Receipts are immediately sent to your email.
