(Updated- revised 1.07.22)

Hector Leal retired from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in mid 2021, after 23 years of protecting and ensuring the safety of the   Las Vegas Community. He has also been a long time member of the National Latino Peace Officer's Association- Clark County Las Vegas Chapter.

Hector was recently diagnosed with  large B Cell Lymphoma (aggressive blood cancer) and is need of immediate cancer treatments.

Hector has traveled, with his wife, to Houston, Texas, to acquire treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. He will have to remain in Houston for chemotherapy and radiation treatments, until, at least, his medical team determines the effectiveness of his treatments. Housing, transportation, and medical costs are becoming very expensive. However, his family is willing to make the necessary sacrifices to assure he has one of the best medical teams in the U.S managing his treatment. His family asks for your prayers and encouragement, during this very difficult time and are very grateful for any assistance.

We are trying to raise at least $15,000 for Hector Leal’s expenses.
