Hurricane Harvey swept through the US, devastating families and taking lives. Our first responders answered the call and rescued thousands during the massive storm. As the rains stopped and our heroes returned home, many found that they had nothing to return to.

Constable Robert W. Sherwood, better known as "Bobby" is out of Nueces County, Precinct Four. He is one of the many area residents who lost their homes and all of their possessions in the storm. Although much too humble to ask for help, he, along with two of his deputies will be the recipients of this fund. His first concern is for his deputies but we want to make sure that he is also supported during this difficult time.

Bobby and his wife lost their home entirely, along with their possessions. "There is nothing left," a friend said. They are currently staying with family.

Deputy Dave Moats, his wife, son (16) and daughter (14) were also hit very hard. They lost their entire home, along with their possessions.

Deputy Shay Williams has a wife and two children. He also cares for his disabled brother. Their home was flooded and the roof has holes. They were able to save one car.

Lets come alongside Sherwood, Williams, and Moats as they work to rebuild their lives. Port Aransas and Aransas Pass will takes months, if not years to recover. The ones who are last to ask for help and first to go out and help others, need us today.

Funds will go directly to these three families. Sherwood, Moats and Williams.  This campaign was started by their friend Chief @TexasHabanero.
