My name is Jeffrey Butler. On February 18th, 2017, I experienced a Cerebral Hemorrhage that lead to my brain bleeding and a build-up of cerebral fluid, while on my way to beginning my duty shift.
At the time I was a Liquor Enforcement Officer for the Pa State Police. I made it back home, got my youngest son's attention who told my wife. I then collapsed at which time my wife found no signs of life in me and revived me. 911 was call and I stopped breathing in the ambulance and was revived. I was life-flighted to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh where Dr. Gross, neurosurgeon, removed a portion of my skull to alleviate the cerebral fluid pressure.
I spent over 5 months in the hospital and have recently returned home after relearning how to speak and walk. I still to this day have considerable difficulty walking. I have lost my job and the rest of my life turned upside down. The medical bills not covered by insurance are extremely huge and have affected every part of my life.
Please find it in your heart to help me and my beautiful family.
