Help us cover costs to provide crocheted Thin Blue Line lap covers for wounded Police Officers, K-9 officers & Correctional Officers

Unfortunately we need to supply more of these than ever before. You can assist us cover costs of:

ON?A?MISSION — Diane Baughman Huggins of the Burgettstown area checks out an afghan made as part of a project she started called Covering the Blue. The afghans are sent to police officers and corrections officers wounded in the line of the duty around the country as a show of support and appreciation. Huggins started a Facebook group promoting the effort and is looking for people interested in sewing or crocheting or helping financially with materials or postage to send the lap covers. -- Janice Kiaski at Herald Star Online.

We are on facebook as Covering the Blue, we are a group that has come together to crochet thin blue line lap afghans for wounded Police officers and Correctional officers.
