In addition to the 5K, there will be a one-mile fun run and different community activities with local enforcement. The goal of this event is to let the community and officers alike get to know each other on a deeper level and to raise money to help further the mission of WASTATE C.O.P.S., rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with enforcement and the community.

The event will take place at Roegner Park on September 14, 2019. The 5K run/walk and one-mile fun run will begin at 9:00 am. The full registration is $45 includes a dri-fit race shirt, custom medal, custom bib and a discount on Blue Lives Matter select items. If registered by August 14, registration goes down to $35. The one-mile fun run is $25 and includes a race shirt. Kids 12 and under are free and can run any race, but if they would like a shirt and medal, the cost is $20. There is also the option to run the race virtually. We will send you a race packet that includes a bib, medal and race t-shirt for $45 (also includes shipping).

This campaign has been started so people who cannot attend, but would like to donate have the ability to do so. It's also for people who wish to donate before or after the race.

All donations are 501c3 tax deductible. 100% of funds raised will go to WA State C.O.P.S.

A: Back The Blue 5K is a community building event hosted by current, and retired law enforcement, their families, and supporters. Our mission is to function as a host for civil engagement and to bring communities together in support of their local law enforcement agency or group.

A: WASTATE C.O.P.S (Concerns of Police Survivors) will receive 100% of the proceeds from this campaign to help further their mission of rebuilding shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths, through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

A: 100% of this campaign goes to the beneficiary. In addition, they will receive a portion of every registration for the Back the Blue 5K before event expenses as well as event sponsorships.
