Help Diane of Covering the Blue with housing
Diane Baughman has been an angel to so many injured officers, k9s, officers of fallen k9s and departments over the years when she started Covering the Blue, a group who knits covers to send to our Blue. She makes sure they know they are thought of, prayed for, and not alone. She volunteers many hours making sure everyone who has been injured is sent a cover: she knits 100’s of covers and finds additional volunteers to help.
Yet now it’s our turn to make sure she and her 26 year old autistic son are covered. Sadly, her landlord unexpectedly passed away. Despite verbal arrangements of the home she has lived in being hers, she has now been given a 36 day eviction notice since his passing. As you can imagine, this has brought incredible stress on her and her son. Their home has been his place of calm and comfort.
This donation was set up to help ease the cost of moving, potentially higher rent due to the current housing market, and provide a little peace during this time of anxiety. They need much prayer as they try and find a new place to live within their area of Pennsylvania.
