Deputy Jared Allison Family Assistance Fund

$200 of $250 raised

Nash County Deputy Sheriff Jared Michael Allison died on December 1, 2020 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident while in the performance of his duties. Deputy Allison was a U.S. Army veteran and served with the Nash County Sheriff’s Office since 2018, most recently with the Traffic Team. He was 26 years old and leaves behind a young son, loving wife and parents. Jared was a 3rd generation LEO following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps.

This tax-deductible fundraiser is on behalf of Jared’s father who is also a retired LEO (28 yrs). Here is a personal message from Jared’s father, Scott Allison:

I just wanted to personally thank everyone for the prayers and kindness shown for my son Jared. Jared left us and has transitioned from this world. He fought so hard these past few days. Fighting for his son Colt, his wife Brenae and for his parents and family. For those who have felt this loss I feel the forever pain with you. This has been the hardest time of my life and I am so thankful for each and everyone of you who have reached out to me and to Jared through prayers and support. You have been very gracious and I thank you for that. My son was my friend and a hero to me. I will truly miss seeing him and talking to him every day. Jared was a 3rd generation Law Enforcement Officer. Following in his dad’s and his grandfather’s footsteps. He had compassion for all people and animals. He died serving his community in a job he so loved. I am very grateful that Jared had his partner Devin there with him and was able to call for emergency services who performed life saving procedures on Jared. This allowed his family to gather with him and encourage his fight. Not everyone gets that privilege and I am thankful. I am thankful that I got to talk to Jared an hour before his crash and that I was able to tell him that I love him and was looking forward to his next trip out to visit.

I am very grateful to the Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone and the professional performance he and his Deputies have shown during this difficult time. Jared’s funeral will be done with full honors given to those who pay the ultimate price in the line of duty. I want to also thank Carbon County Sheriff Archie Roybal for his support and understanding. I am honored by his offer of lowering the flag to half staff at the Carbon County Courthouse for Jared. Jared enjoyed the opportunity to ride with his dad and to experience the life and people of Baggs and the Little Snake River Valley. I am glad he got to see and meet the wonderful people here. I am very lucky to live in such a great community.

Please say one more prayer for Jared. I am so proud to have had him for the short time that he was here. Please be at eternal peace my son.
